Dreams are for everybody!

Dear Mr. Jacobs,
My name is Marti. I am a fifth grade student at Walden Elementary School.
We have been on your website. It is amazing! My favorite was the pictures. I really liked the mystery lane picture. I just wanted to jump in and go down the lane. We had a great time with you when you were here May 5, 2011.
I learned amazing things like how in Australia there aren’t any speed limits and a one lane highway. I always thought all countries had two lane highways. I would like to go there in a really fast car and drive everywhere.
When you were here I liked the writing workshop. You really inspired me to write about anything I think of. You also taught me to follow my dreams. One of my dreams is to go to culinary school to be a chef and then go to Africa to make poor people a full day of food to make their day.
If you ever stop in Walden again you should visit the school again. That was the best time I had in a long time.
Thank you so much,
Marti

Dear Mr. Jacobs,
My name is Ayron. I am a fifth grade student in Walden Elementary School.
When we were on your website we looked at the podcast videos and many other things. My favorite part was when there were videos of the Mountain Gorillas and many other things to go along with it. I think those things were awesome. I also loved the pictures that were on your website.
I loved the mystery picture and the prayer wall that you showed us when you came to our school in Walden on Thursday May 5, 2011. Actually I really loved all the wonderful amazing pictures that you showed us. I also loved the speech you gave us and that you took the time to come down to Walden , Colorado just to see the North Park kids.
I learned many amazing things when you were here. Like in Australia that the roads were very different from our roads and in Uganda, Africa the children had a cafeteria outside and had to take their shoes off just to eat. I also learned that there are many amazing places to go see. I would love to go see all the extraordinary places you went to and many, many more.
Thank you for going to our school to tell all of us about your journey.
Your friend,
Ayron
