Hi Amy,
It was a quiet night, even for the busy city of Bangkok. No Christmas decorations, no sale signs, sometimes a plastic blow-up Santa doll hanging from the ceiling of a roadside stall selling merchandise. Without all the outside distractions of the holidays, the decision became a silent internal conscious choice to celebrate Christmas.
May your holidays be filled with peaceful moments that leave you room to reflect.
Cheers,
Dean

As a mother of five I can definitely relate to your comments about some of the "unavoidable obligations" of the Christmas season. It was refreshing for me to hear about the simplicity of Christmas in Thailand. Can you tell more about what made the service so beautiful?
