On Thursday I spent the day presenting to the elementary students and staff of Centennial Academy in Littleton CO.
What a fun day, filled with sweet moments and great exchanges with students and staff.

Starting Thursday, I will begin two weeks of school presentations in Colorado and Wyoming.
I'm super excited about this short tour, as it will launch the new animal book Wondrous Creatures with a number of schools already familiar with my work. Additionally it will allow us to showcase the book in my co-author, Amy Tharp's school in Littleton.
An extra special stop with be in Waldon CO. The superintendent in Waldon emailed me a couple of weeks ago to share the great news their school had been recognized in the state of Colorado for attaining a high level of achievement in the school system. As a reward for this accomplishment, the elementary school decided to celebrate this fact by requesting a return visit with Dean Jacobs. Wooohoo! How cool is that!
So this sunrise photo, taken today, is a celebration of this tour. Instead of riding off into the sunset, I am riding off into the sunrise of what's possible!
