Today I had a great meeting with the educational department at the henry Doorely Zoo to explore how we might collaborate working together during my Amazon journey.
Afterwards I took a stroll through part of the zoo to see what animals I might be able to capture.
" I wonder if I follow this rope it will get me out of here?"
Way better then the pink ones on the lawns!
The zoo offers a wonderful chance for young people to connect with wild animals, to learn about and gain appreciation.
I have my days where I wish I could just stick my head under the water like this!
Happy Wednesday! Please share which photo you like the best and why!
cheers,

I like the one of the duck sticking the head under the water.
I wonder what makes you feel that way?
For me it is when I have to many things on my head.
I take a moment to write down the things I have to do.
If I still feel the same way, I know that there are some other things worrying me and then I know that I have to go from head down to my heart.
Meditating helps or even crying a little bit helps or even laughing, when I see there wasn't something really important to worry about.
... Then I can get my head out of the water again. :)
Love,
Ana (Costa Rica)

I like the one with the gorilla and the girl in the viewing dome. You really have the eye for great pictures.

I like the orangutan photo - all of the colors of skin and fur, the expression, the eyes, the wonder of this creature!
