Off to explore the Gobi Desert of Mongolia
Howdy!
This is a short message to let you know I will be off to explore the Gobi Desert of Mongolia for two weeks. This means I will be out of touch and unable to respond to emails or posts on my blog. Do not worry though, I will return with stories and photos to share. So far the train ride across Russia has been brilliant! I look forward to sharing more details about this part of the adventure soon. An opportunity came up to join a group heading out into the wilds of Mongolia, so I am taking advantage of it. I just arrived from Russia today, and have bought some supplies for the trip, we leave tomorrow morning. It hasn't given me enough time to write more, sorry.
I hope it is warm where ever you are.
Cheers,
Dean

Hey Sarah,
That's great news! I've never been to Malawi, yet, sounds like a good excuse to go. There's a chance I might be going back to Africa for some work in the future, so you never know where I might show up.
All the best to you and Austin! Thank you for your kind words, it's great to have you along for the journey!
Cheers,
Dean

Hi Dean!
I've been keeping up with your journey since the start and just can't believe the wonderful stories you have to tell. What an amazing experience for us all to share! Austin and I are about to embark on a journey of our own... we're leaving for Malawi in February for the Peace Corps! If you have time (and energy!) to revisit the grand continent of Africa, you have a place to stay in Malawi! I think my mom is even going to defy the impossible and travel our way! What will she do without her hairspray? Hope all is well!
Safe Travels,
Sarah
